Quick question,

Why don't we see many Bass heads with dual channels?

70's SVT's and SVT-VR's have two channels.

While originally intended to allow multiple musicians to play through one rig at the same time, two (or more) channel guitar heads tend to be used by guitarists for different sounds (often dirty/clean).

My guess is that since fewer bassists have two completely separate sounds or want such, amp manufacturers feel that there isn't significant demand for this kind of feature.

Yes, it's all a matter of demand. It doesn't exist in enough numbers for manufactureres to take notice.
