210 Build

Sign in to disble this ad
I had 2 Eminence s2010's that my wife gave me for our anniversary last year. I didn't really have much use for them, but since they were from her, I couldnt really sell them or I would never get anything from her again. So I decided to build myself a 210 cabinet.

I designed the cab using winISD. If my memory serves me it is tuned to 46Hz. This cab gets LOW for a 210, that is for sure.

Here's how it started:

And finally done. This cab sounds amazing. It's a little bit of a bummer that this is a 4Ohm cab, but it works great for practice or the coffee house circuit. If they gave a 210 to soldiers in the Army, this would be standard issue!

I built my own 2x10 cabs ... 3 of them ... sed 2 16 ohm eminence 10s and wired them in parallel which made for an 8 ohm cab. Mine sound best when used in pairs to get a 4 ohm load.

Here's one of my 2x10 cabs and one of my 1x15 with a horn.

The 1x15 has a carvin 15 and a carvin horn and a carvin crossover. It makes a really good pa cabinet.

Hmmm... Maybe I need to build another one. But then I could have my 2 210s at an 8 ohm load
