212 or 2x210 DNA Cab

Sign in to disble this ad
Trying out a DNA 112 cab right now. Digging the cab but know I'll wanna add another 112 with it. Then I thought about 2x210 cabs. If I go with the 210's I could sell my 410 cab and downsize. The weight is 55. I would have a small and medium/large setup. If i go with 212, they are separate and easier to handle for one person, weight 35, I would keep the 410 just for backup incase 212 is not enough. What are your opinions?

How do you like the DNA cabs compared to the other cabs you currently have and had?

I'm surprised at how much low end it has. Handles my LEJ5 well. You really hear it fingerstyle. I think it will sound better with two for slap, but workable with one if needed. The DNA is louder than my previous cab.

I played the DNA 112N today at church. Man, hard to believe all the sound coming out this lil box. I had my amp volume at about 10 o'clock and gain at 9 o'clock. I like bottom and this cab had it. I play more finger, so it's a great match. I actually had to dial back my pre on LEJ. Some folks like 10's for slap, but i like a lil booty under my slap and cab did the job. Not into the sizzle pops. I think I may go with the 212 setup and might be selling my 410. Small rig with big sound!

Those DNA 112 cabs are getting some great reviews. I'd like to see DNA produce a 212 cab, but I've heard that they're concentrating on the new amps now, so there won't be any new cab designs for a while.

I'd also like to try two of the DNA 210 cabs together - might be very tasty.

Anyway, I don't think you'll have any complaints with two of those 112 cabs; they're pretty amazing little boxes.

Dude, I played one of th 210's and I thinking about selling my 410! It hits hard and almost the size of my Glock 410. Also has a lot of room to move air.

from what I heard I'm definitely feeling the DNA 112, two would be excellent for any gig.

1) Sell the 4x10
2) Get another DNA 1x12
3) Get two DNA 2x10s
