275w-350w 4 ohm cabinets. Help please!!!!!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
I have been looking for weeks to find a reasonably priced (300-500$) used or new 275w-350w 4 ohm cabinet. this is to match my acoustic 370, and honestly i am not willing to pair it with a 301 cabinet. I am open to 2x12's 2x15's and 4x10's, whatever fits this price range. BUT NO 1x15's and no tweeters....

Throw those brands out there, I am open to anything besides crate and behringer.

That head has a fairly unique voice. Specifically the bright switch. With some cabs it’s too much when engaged, and others sound muffled when it’s off. I personally don’t care for modern “hi-fi” cabs with this head. I think it sounds great through an Ampeg 810, but that may be more cab than you want. I could also see it working with some of the older Peavey 15’s where you could utilize the bright switch. You might try sending a message to user SOMEPARTS. He’s a good guy and very knowledgeable about this head.

ive heard of avatar speakers, and atm that is my top choice buying new. My only worry with getting vintage-ish cabinets is the high probability of it being repaired at some point or not original. (mostly speaking of the 301 cabinet). I'll send that guy a message, sounds worthwhile.
