Last year, I used a single 18" EV, that was remounted in a Marshall 4X10 enclosure, with my PLX1602. It kicked ass. This year, I hauled my 2 TL606 with 3015's and the same amp, bass, but this time, I used a PB1, instead of the preamp section of a Mark IV. Last year, we were on a trailer, approx 10 feet from the side of a building. This year, we were turned 90 degree's. I got swallowed up. The same cabinet I used last year, was used for the keyboard player with a Trace Elliot 1300 watt head. It still kicked ass, and I dissapeared. It wasn't that he was too loud, the 606's were just too mamby pamby. I probably should have modded the cabs to chain them, and then bridge the PLX to 4 ohms. 300 per cab was definetly NOT enough. The clip light was on pretty often. I know I'll bring enough to coast, next year.

Probably not the problem, but if it is the Yamaha PB1 you know that it uses a Fender tone stack? So to be heard you need bass almost off, treble almost off, mid on full?
