2U Case Recommendation?

Sign in to disble this ad
Guys,

I play a gbe730 that is presently in an SBK case with wheels that's *just* a little too big for the trunk o' my car. I'm curious what other guys are doing in similar situations.

I have a lust for one of the headcases ala Aguilar, but my google searches have come up fruitless.

Recommendations?

Cheers,

Daniel

GAS: Gear Aquisition Syndrome, i.e the need to get more and more gear...even if you have enough

My choice would always be something with removable front (for protecting the knobs) and back covers (for containing the cables), even it it is a rackback. I don't really get the open cases, which don't even protect from dust.

Carvin has a 2 spacer that doesn't have covers...is more of an old school type head enclosure:

It's only about $40, and you can get it covered in different vinyl covers.

But SKB, Gator, Grundorf, and others have 2-space racks that are pretty maneuverable. The SKB Roto rack cases don't have hinged back panels, just a small sheet of plastic that fits into place. Might be an option.

Great advice, guys. Thank you. The variable for me is, the fan on the gbe750 is on the side; not sure how that's going to play with those.
