Hey guys. I need a 2nd cab. I have 1x Aguilar 2x12. A lot of people recommend getting a 2nd. Is it the common consensus that it would sound awesome?

If you like the sound of 1 then you'll like the sound of two, as it will be the same, just louder (essentially).
I'd say go for it, provided you don't mind moving it all

It's like having two slices of pizza, so yes.

Did it for over a year. Good rig, if a little too dark for a dark amp. I found it wasn't the best compliment, for example, for the DB 750; I preferred a brighter cabinet on that amp (e.g., NL210).

GS112x2 sounds great with the Little Mark, though!

thanks guys. In a position where I cant try before I buy so looking for any additional feedback if possible. I'd be using an Eden Navigator Pre Amp, and Crown power amp.

What do you think?

2 of the same is ALWAYS better than 2 mixed cabs, so yes.

I played 2 GS112s powered with a GK1001RBII

1 GS112......meh

2 x GS112s.....Holy Crap!!!!!!

2 were Much Much louder and beefier than 1.

I definitely recommend getting the exact same cabinet. When bass cabinets start to roll off in the low end the phase shifts. If the cabinets are the same than the phase shift matches and they add in phase all the way down. If one of them rolls off higher than the other then they start going out of phase and the bass just gets weird. It cancels on some notes and reinforces on others. I had this situation when I tried to combine my GS112 with a sShroeder 1515L.....it just didn't work at all. The sound got all hollow and seemed softer than the Schroeder alone. When I got my second GS112 I was blown away 1+1=3 or 4.

I only have one GS212. I can only imagine the damage that could result in not fastening down any "breakables" through two of them. Those cabs put out some serious low end.

Which cab do you have?

I have a GS212 running 4 ohms I've been meaning to unload...
