I bought an Avatar B410 this summer, and while i was unbelieveably happy with it, i realize now that i didnt really need it and am considering selling it and gettin a 210. I figure i could get the Avatar 210, but i was wondering if there was any other good 210s in the 350-500 price range, or if maybe another speaker size altogether would be a better choice? |

I don't know if it's exactly 1/2 size but close. Basically, it would have the very simair tone to the 410, just a little quieter...3db to be exact. There are plenty of affordable, decent 210's out there but all will have a little different tone, for better or worse, that's a subjective "tone thing". |

Y'know what Murphy would rule: as soon as you get the 2x10 ya gonna need the 4x10!

| | | | If you dig your Avatar 4X10, you'll dig the weight, portability, and TONE on a B210! Sounds really nice with my Carvin BX500

| | | | another vote for sticking with avatar. The only reason I didnt get the avatar 210 is because I got the 212.
Id be happy to trade my 212 for your 410 =)

2x12 is a great...well it's almost wrong to call it a compromise really lol. You'll get plenty of bottom end with less weight, it's a good setup IMHO. I personally prefer cabs that have tilt-back casters on them, so a 4x12 would be my preference but you can do some serious damage with a 2x12's.

They are (210s) the same depth as the Epifani UL and NYC t-410 cabs. I haven't needed more, but of course I want more. Blame reggae!
