2x15 into 2 x 1x15

I will soon have 2 tube amps and want to run them both at the same time. I currently have an Ampeg B25B 2x15 cabinet, front loaded with Eminence Delta 15A speakers. It has a sealed back, and has wooden bracing between the 15 inch speakers. Some of you may already know what I'm going to ask.

By extending the middle bracing all the way to the back wall of the cabinet, isolating the speakers from eachother 100%, and porting each cabinet to the proper specs for the Delta 15A speaker, could I create a nifty stereo 2 x 1x15 cabinet that could run my 2 (100 watt and 200 watt) tube amps? I know Hiwatt makes a cabinet like this but with a 4x10/1x15 combo.

Thanks

I'm going to be using a Marshall Super Bass, which is 29 inches wide. I love 15 inch speakers, and there isn't a 1x15 available onto which the Marshall will sit without ridiculous overhang on both sides.

So I'm searching for other options right now.

I'd sell it and buy two 115s instead.

I think it's not necessarily a bad idea.

You'd have to take the speakers out, cut the box in half and do some wood-working.

Why cut the box in half? I'm talking about just adding a wall between the two speakers inside of the box.

I might even spring for some Kappalite 15s or some other high Xmax woofer. Only thing is that I would need help finding out what size ports each box would need.

I'm torn between:

1. modifying my 2x15 into a 2x(1x15),
2. buying 2 1x15 cabinets, (or 2 4x10s, or 2 2x15s, ect.) i like 15s most of all
3. or adding a 4x12 or 8x10 to my 2x15.

option 1 is the cheapest, but might not be the best sounding. it would be easily movable and it would look pretty good.

option 2 would be most expensive, would probably sound the best, would be the easiest to move around, but the Marshall Super Bass is 29 inches long, like i said before.

option 3 would also be rather expensive but would give me a monster rig. it would be a nightmare to haul around, but it would look and sound absolutely killer.

oh i see. I think that would still technically be a 2x15 box, but yea, you could totally do it.

If you go with 3015LFs you could turn your 2x15 into a fEARful, following greenboys dimensions. You'd be missing out on the mid driver, but you could build that into the cab too if there's space.

You gotta get the max dimensions for each driver in the box you currently have to know what drivers are going to work in there.

I'm not sure if I would have room for a mid driver.

also, I would have to add another speaker input at the bottom of the cabinet.

I wonder how it would sound... running my Mesa clean into the top speaker, then the Marshall distorted into the bottom speaker.

Or I could put the 2x15 on its side and have clean on the left, distortion on the right.

You'd have to also consider the impedance of each driver as it relates to each amp.
