4 or 2 pin speakon por my svt4 DUAL MONO output??Help

can i use a 4 pin speakon in that output??

what if i get the 2 pin cable?
i wont be able to run mono bridge mode with thw 2 pin one. or not??

(sorry, i don't speak english)

You need the 4 pin to do bridged or biamped. 2 pin will be fine for the individual amp outputs (not the bridge/biamp output). The pin connections are written on the chassis next to the speakon connectors.

Look on page 14 in this Crown manual.

It's in Spanish as well. I believe this is standard Speakon wiring for bridged operation for all amplifiers, but double check to be sure.

I know that...buc can i run a dual mono mode with a 4 pin cable??


My amp is an SVT4pro

and my cab a svt410HE

(i'm not thinking in running mono bridge at this time..but if i can use a 4 pin cable, i would bridge it some day)

iir, the output on the svt4 has three jacks, one for mono and two for stereo. a two pin cable works for all of them. the mono/stereo split is done within the head, not by the use of different cables.
if you get a four pin, it simply mean that two threads aren't being used.

4 pin cables will work in both the individual amp outputs, you will only use the 1+ and 1- pins for that. If you have a 4 pin cable, just look at the pins on the connector to make sure it's wired that way - unscrew the body of the speakon connector to see this.
