4 and 8 ohm cab config?! Hey all, I have the Epifunky 210 8 Ohm. 250 RMS 600 Peak I have the Fender Rumble 350 watt head 4 Ohm. I want to get another 210. Or maybe a 212. I know that the EpiF takes about half of the power from the Rumble350 (so something like 175 watts?). If I use another 8 Ohm, will it only take 175? And if I use a 4 Ohm, will it be more powerful? What should I get, and how many Ohms should it be? How many watts? I'm considering something cheap like the Carvin BR210. What do you think? |
Best to use the exact same cab as you have now. 8 ohm only: two cabs takes you down to 4 ohms. If you cant find one the same, try at least to get something very similar. Don't worry about splitting watts, it is going to be louder; more surface area, more air moving. Less work for each driver. |

Yes two 8s make 4. If you can't swing another epi cab you can try another as long as its 8. |
Thanks dude. Appreesh it! |
