4 and 8 ohm cab config?!

Hey all,

I have the Epifunky 210 8 Ohm. 250 RMS 600 Peak

I have the Fender Rumble 350 watt head 4 Ohm.

I want to get another 210. Or maybe a 212.

I know that the EpiF takes about half of the power from the Rumble350 (so something like 175 watts?). If I use another 8 Ohm, will it only take 175? And if I use a 4 Ohm, will it be more powerful?

What should I get, and how many Ohms should it be? How many watts?

I'm considering something cheap like the Carvin BR210. What do you think?

Best to use the exact same cab as you have now. 8 ohm only: two cabs takes you down to 4 ohms. If you cant find one the same, try at least to get something very similar. Don't worry about splitting watts, it is going to be louder; more surface area, more air moving. Less work for each driver.

So a 210 8ohm is what I need. Somebody offered me the Carvin. How similar is "similar"?

Yes two 8s make 4. If you can't swing another epi cab you can try another as long as its 8.
