410 or 210 with a 115

I'm wanting to but a new bass cab but not sure if I should get a 410 or go with 210 stacked on a 115. So what's your opinion on which sounds best?

*prepare for a whole slew of matched driver arguments... the general (scientific) consensus on here is that it is better to use matched cabs (same size drivers) than to use say a 115 and 210

but IMO/E the 410 is the better option unless you need the portablity/modular setup of having 2 smaller cabs in which case I would get 2 matching 210 cabs.

+1. I have to say though, that IME 210/115 stacks tend to work very well, and personally I would prefer that over a 410 any day.

If you're going to use mismatched cabs, I'd use the 2x10 rather than the 4x10. A 2x10 has about the same area of speaker as a 1x15, meaning that if they're comparable in other areas (power handling, sensitivity), they'll be a better match.

Still, might be better to get another 1x15, though.

Neither. Get two 2x10s or two 1x15, stack them vertically.
