410 vs 2X210

What would be the volume difference of running two 210's vs a single 410? Of course taking all other variables out including arrangement (ie vertical stacking).

Let's say a GK 410MBX vs. 2 210MBX?

There shouldn't be much of a volume difference, IMO.

Am I wrong in thinking that it should go up a bit as it would be 4ohms instead of 8ohms?

If they're both 8ohm cabinets, yes. You'd get more power drawn from the head, but in relation to volume more wattage isn't always the answer if I'm correct?

This argument maybe correct but I figured since the OP said to keep everything else the same, I kinda assumed this'd be included.

Imperceptibly. The main advantage is the far better dispersion characteristics with two 210s vertically stacked.

I know it's not so relevant, but having two 2x10's in theory is easier to move around. Rather than hauling round one 4x10.

Depends, Mr Antt: One 4x10 plus my bass fit in my Mini Cooper but not two 2x10s...

Given the same amount of current coming out of the head...

I think the differences would be small. And they would be related to interior cab volume and porting (if any).

The only interesting differences, in my opinion, would be that the pair of 2x10s would be larger, heavier and more expensive--but modular and more luggable.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. The only differences I wanted to discuss were the cabinets themselves. The two I listed as an example ware both 8ohm so running them together would be 4ohms.
