Question 69' Peavey 2-15" cab. anyone ever seen or heard?

When I was young late teen rocker I bought Peaveyy. 2-15" CTS bass cab. It sounds deep & loud. Can rattle windows in large hall. It has silver-greenish grill cloth. I've never seen another since. Has anyone heard or played thru one? I was puzzled why they are so rare. The sound of it was similar to Fender dual showman sound. The sounds I tried to emulate was Vanilla Fudge & Grand Funk. If anyone has input on these feel free to share. Thanx. Fudgefan.

Do you have a photo of them? That picture above shows Fender cabs, so no idea what these peavey's look like.

Haven't seen one but before peavey started making their own speakers they used a square magnet 15 with an inch, maybe 1-1/2" vc that although had nice tone farted badly with more than just a little input. Hartley says in one of his write-ups about the company they went into speaker design because they were getting way too much stuff returned with blown speakers. You can still find those models in some old 215's and early tnt 100's.

Question

Yep. I've seen them & blown 2-4 speakers. Can't remember. So long AG. Had square magnets. Must have been 75 Watt speakers cause I blew them with 100 Watt Kustom & neck humbucker on Fender Mustang. Been playing softer in churches for 40+yrs. I know Peavey went black cloth for long time after mine. Don't know exactly when started making them. Probably mid to later 60's. Thanx fudge fan.

Can't post pics here. Just posted my bottom rig at Gibson Talk forum. Under low down, amps, intro, or epicenter. Just tap little guitar then albums. Good luck. #1 old time VF fan when we were all young and crazy. Some still are.
