Here's a review of a plate amp that weighs 7 pounds and generates 1300 Watts into 8-Ohms, 2400 Watts into 4-Ohms, and 4000 Watts into 2-Ohms: SpeakerPower Torpedo SP1-4000 Plate Amp Review |

You can get 1800W of constant power, but it's completely possible to power a GW-level device off a standard socket, if you have enough capacitors to store energy. Most amplifiers come with capacitors to do exactly that (store energy).

The OEM pages have interesting bi-amp and tri-amp models listed...

Not sure how they're going to handle DSP programming for direct sales. Hopefully by offering something a little friendlier than the interface I'm using...it's a bit of a bear! |

Front panel has one input, a balanced XLR input with a looping XLR output.
One detented volume control, two push switches, one selects full range response or a 30-80 Hz sub filter, the other a polarity reversal.

The DSP is custom programmable by the buyer - they give you a program to do it with (if you buy enough of them).
