Here are pics of the front and back of amp, if this helps any. It's weird that it doesn't say anything about SS just B 115.

Also, here is a pic of the top of the schematic and a bigger pic of the speaker top.

I know the schematic pic is bad, but the writing is too small for my camera. It says model B115 and B410, and has a date of 5/21/73.

I have the Altec 418 series II option in my early seventies Ampeg SVT 115 cabs. They where at the time offered with a lifetime guarantee on the Altec speaker option.

That's the head from a B-115 combo amp, not related to the B-15 family at all. They were sold in the late 70s, originally as a combo then later as a head/cab. The B-410 was the 4x10 version. The number of amp model numbers listen on the back was due to the use of the same chassis for multiple amps.

Thank you, and I know because I have the entire combo. Thought maybe it would help identify the speaker.

Thanks everyone for the input. Hopefully someday soon I'll have the scratch to get her fixed and sounding like her "glory days"

I'd get that horrible forehead injury fixed first!

The vented cap dome screams CTS.
