I'm lucky enough to own 2 vintage SVT's in wonderful working condition. It seems every now and then the crazy idea pops into my head to use one as trade bait. I guess I'm asking does anyone else have a really great piece of gear that sometimes makes you think ...Uhmm,wonder what I could get for it? Is this normal? Should I seek professional help? Can I blame all my G.A.S. on this damned site? Is there hope? Can I ever go back home??

Besides, you have two of them. Don't be greedy.
I'll give you a Squier P and $5 for one of them. I'll even pick it up.

It's fun.
It's really cool how new gear can bolster your creative process.

Then he points over to this grungy B-15 and tells me they get excellent results with it. I thought he had to be joking...until I plugged into it. It was my first experience with one, hell I'd never seen one in person before then. Man what a killer tone I got with that thing!
