about the GK MB800...

Sign in to disble this ad
is the soon to be released GK MB800 going to be so awesome and amazing that i should wait a few weeks to get one instead of buy a 1001rbii? i am going to buy, maybe tomorrow, a GK 1001rbii...but the new MB800 seems like it's gonna be a great tone machine...

i love the GK sound!! i need big volume and tone for the kinda music i play...loud heavy rock music...the 1001rbii has such an awesome tone and sound that i want to just get it already but the new MB800 seems cool...

?

what to do?

do you really think the MB800 is going to be more of a powerful tone machine than the 1001rbii? i love the deep fat growl and grind of GK amps and they just kill with a P bass with flats and some drive...

?

help...

Wait - and try each amp side by side and then you will never have to wonder if you made the right choice or not again.

So there's your answer: Just. Get. It.

Yes, by all indications, the MB800 is also going to be a great amp. But the MB800 isn't going anywhere. If you can't afford to pick one up until later this year, or next year, or even in a couple of years - as a backup amp or as an alternate amp to your 1001 RB-II - then so what? You can still get one as soon as you're ready. And in the meantime, you still get to play through one of the great rock amps.

Problem solved. And you're welcome...

you know what...? you're right! i just fell in love with the 1001RBII...it was just amazing and it was pretty much the sound i hear in me head and i bet it's going to take my pedals in a great way. it felt and sounded more like me than any of the other amps i tried out, and i tried out quite a few! it was really all i need in a bass amp...i guess i'm a GK person...
