I'm desperate for a new rig, as I'm touring at the end of this month. I have a crappy SWR workingman's 15 that isn't cutting it. I've tried everything in town, and am leaning toward the Eden WT550 head. I've heard nothing but great things, and from my own tests and subjective listening, the Eden stuff seems to blow everything else away (for my tastes at least). But... I don't hear a lot of people talking about Eden stuff right now on TB. People here don't seem to be raving about the Eden stuff as much as people I meet in the San Francisco area, but also, I see a lot of Eden stuff for sale right now and I'm kinda wondering why folks are getting rid of their eden gear for bergatino's or ashdowns...
Thoughts? Is it worth trading my new Gibson SG for? My thought is that if I'm going to sacrifice my electric guitar, I should get a great head, and upgrade from a cheaper cab to a more expensive one when I can. Gonna start with a 2x10 and add a 15" later on when we start to play bigger shows. Our style is avant-folk indie rock in the Death Cab For Cutie vein, with a pretty loud drummer, although the band is discouraging me away from a 4x10 due to size and space constraints in our tour van. A 2x10 with a 15 might be easier to pack. I'm playing a Music Man Big Al 4 string. Here's a link to the SG with coil taps I bought only two months ago:

Just curious what wisdom I might gleam from the experienced folks here on TB. Am I headed in the right direction?
*Secret: I got a really great deal on the guitar... so it's not a big a loss as you might think, financially
