accugroove bill dickens cab

Sign in to disble this ad
this cab is the best cab you will ever buy.even tone throught,no one part of the sound spectrum over colored.this cab is as flat as it gets.this cab is the punchyest cab ever(no 8x10 can match).this cab still with all that punch, is still lush and warm.there is so much power out of those speakers.
the 2x12,8,and 2 silk tweeters bring the best of all worlds the punch of the 10 inch speaker and the subsonic rumble of a 15 inch speaker and take it to another level.at 1000 watts this thing can crank.i have never had a cab with 12's in them but i sold.if you have an extended range bass this will play every note like its the special sweet spot. the tweeters provide a high end that is not shrill or tinny, but warm and solid.they blend is such a nice way with the overall sound, nothing is lost.
the other cool thing about this cab is, it will fit in the back of a new style volkswagon bug with 3 basses a gig bag,and still seat 2 people.
the only cons of this cab is that it costs and arm and a leg plus your first born son. it is so powerfull and loud that it can be too much for some gigs (coffee shops, chillin at home).
don't buy this cab if your not going play your a@# off.this cab is not for the weekend type dude, only for someone who is really needs this kind of tone and power.
i dont know anything about this so called accuswitch, because the new ones dont have them.people need to get over all that any way.these cabs are top notch, american made, built like tanks, and sound effing great.

So you like the cabinet - I'm very happy for you.

Saying that this cab is too good for the semi-pro player is a little condescending don't you think? The AccuSwitch debacle is very real and lost the company a lot of respect. It's not up to us to "get over it" but for the company to regain its lost reputation.

I'm a weekend type dude and I've owned two of them...

Guess I'm not worthy...

Glad you dig the cab.

I played through one long ago, liked it a lot. Not much different than a fEarfull type 2x12, costs way more. I think the BD cab is probably too good for posters too lazy to begin sentences with caps. hA hA.

Not to mention omitting spaces after punctuation marks.

To the OP: Your post reads very much like a troll...

I've got a double fEarful stack that makes trolls run away and hide behind their Accugrooves. No specious switch science will change that.

I thought it was a very very bad free advertising attempt.

Troll would be a close second though.

+1. Like I'd take advice from someone verging on being totally illiterate, or pretending to be, under the mistaken assumption that sounding stupid equates with being hip. It's not hip, it's just stupid.

thats not it at all.i just think its a real good cab. it just costs alot. any one who is not giging alot might find this cab too big,and cost too much. Its worth the price if thats what you want.i just wanted to let people know, what someone who has a bill dickens cab thinks of it.
on another note.why all the hate?do you people just sit around here to put everyone down?must be a great life, very fullfilling.
i did not write that post to give out a free add to accugroove.i guess if i takled alot of crap on this cab, you people would be happy as clams.sorry i frogot the rules. must be a jerk to all who post, and put down everything thats not ampeg.
this thread was not ment to stir up all this anger.it was just to give one persons view on a product.i dont understand why some take it so personal because someone likes a different product than you.
as far as no space and punctuation goes, whatever.if thats the worst thing i do than im ok with that.

I am sure it is a great sounding cab, but I think You got a bit off base beating on "weekenders". I would be willing to bet that My "weekender" cash spends the same as the "full timer's" cash any day of the year. In the end, I think that is all that really matters to any company manufacturing music equipment.
So if You are a "weekender" or "full time pro" You can play through whatever gear Your heart desires, as long as Your finances allow it.

let me get this out of the way.i am a weekend dude.this is a great cab.however it is overkill. i could have gotten something smaller at half the cost that would have done the job just fine.that being said,i stand by my words.this cab cost so much you have to ask your self is it worth it?am i going to get my money out of this?i fell like i have.some however, might feel that going out on weekend gigs with a 1500.00 cab is not worth it.thats all.
music is about fun, passion, and love.lets not forget that.
there is enough hate in the world already.

Proper grammar and punctuation helps, spacing between sentences is also a requirement to be taken seriously at all. It might not matter to you at all, but try reading posts written like yours for any length of time. Readers will quickly learn to avoid anything posted by moebass just to save their vision.

As far as the level of "hate" you've experienced here; "You ain't seen nothing yet". You'll need a tough skin to post on the internet.
