| | | | thanks, i thought so as well until i hooked up my genz-benz gbe 400 to it and found it to be harsh, edgy and brittle sounding...i demoed it with an old peavey mk.III and it was nice and thick and warm, which was probably the deciding factor to run the visa up again...that genz-benz is starting to irritate me considerably, really thinkin about chucking it...any ideas? |

| | | | yep, i thought so...i've had my doubts about that gb top for awhile now, i held onto it because it seemed like a decent back up top and it is for the most part. but when it makes a $1000 cabinet sound this bad, its outta here!...i'd rather have another peavey MK series... |

The room was huge and the band wound up playing very loud. I was afraid I might push the 110 too hard, but it kept up nicely. I recorded that gig with a field recorder and the recorded tone was excellent.

(newer ones don't) Over the four years I've been grooving mine, I've never gotten harsh. Amps I've used: EA iAMP 800, Thunderfunk 420 and 550, AI Clarus, Shuttle 6.0, Crown XTI 2000. Great woody mids - I love 'em.
