| Whew! MASSIVELY different.
Acme112.... extreme low end extension, low sensitivity (takes LOTS of power), moderate maximum volume. Beautiful fat low end tone, sparkly top end if you get the tweeter loaded model... meaty, fat, huge. You need to kind of know what you are doing with this cab, and it is quite sensitive to the voicing and power of the head. The Fullrange model is also surprisingly transparent (meaning it will reproduce the fullest range of the bass guitar, from the deepest open B fundamental to the 15K+ overtones on the G string), which makes the voicing very unforgiving regarding technique. This can be a great thing or not so good, depending on the player. There is no tweeter attenuator, so that voicing is 'fixed'. I again love it, but it can scare you a bit.
Genz Neox.... great 'traditional' 112... very midrange punchy, tight but usable low end, loud per watt, forgiving regarding low end voicing of head and power of head. It is a pretty good 'single cab' solution for those with a moderately powered amp who like a punchy, warm tone.
Both are great for what they are. For most, the Genz Neox would be the 'safe' choice. I love my Acme112, but it again takes a bit of knowledge and 'fussing' to get the most out of it IMO.
