Anybody have experience using this product on a DIY cabinet interior?: Speaker Cabinet Coating - Acoust-X Sound Damping Coating
I am rebuilding an Avatar 2x10 in order to reduce the weight of the cabinet (if you're interested, here's the related thread: Light Weight Cab Rebuild).
Per Bill Fitzmaurice's recommendation I'll be using dowels on the cabinet inside for rigidity. I originally planned to line the interior with some kind of poly-fill, but the Acoust-X looks like it will be easier to work with. So, does it dampen sound as well as polly-fill?

As I understand it, bounce back is the adverse effect that reflected mid frequencies inside the cabinet have on accurate production of bass frequencies.

By the way, I'll post a build thread with pics for all you interested DIY'ers.
