Acoustic 120 Head - Anybody have one?

I was wondering how rare these are, and how they sound compared to the new B200h. Is it worth seeking one out?

Its looks like they were from the same years that my old 150(sold it years ago ! ) was from. Here is an old Acoustic link and it looks like these are rare if any are around at all. . . .

Sure....the 120 (as the respondent stated) is from the "golden" years of Acoustic Control Corporation. They made a wide variety of amps from Guitar amps, to PAs, to power amps to bass amps (you get the idea).

as psted earlier, check out:

They have a complete company history!

Cheers!!

I have a weakness for old ACC stuff. I currently have the 360, 370, and 150. Once upon a time I picked up either the 120 or 140 - can't remember which. Anyway I do remember NOT being impressed and promtly flipping it quickly. But thats just me!

have fun,
chris

I've got a 150 in the classifieds. Great amp. Don't know about the 120 though but my experience with vintage acoustics has been good. They're indestructible, way more powerful than what they're rated for, not heavy (not light either but not boat anchors next to some of the tube amps I've had), and their tone is awesome.
