Acoustic 150B "Booster"?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys/gals... just a quick question... I am picking up an Acoustic Control 150b, and i'm trying to figure out what's going on with this "Booster Output" on the back?

I'm thinking it's like a direct out, but i've read that you can daisy chain this to another amp? Has anyone ever done such a thing? Doesn't seem to make sense to me.

Anyway, if anyone could explain this to me, i'd appreciate it, i'm no dunce but i've just never encountered this before.

Thanks

its a line out so you could plug it into another poweramp, or 'slave' as it used to be called.

ok..

Thanks for the response! So as far as the application goes, just run the powerboost output to another bass head input? (I have another ashdown head)... seems risky right? Would you recommend using a speaker cable for this? And tone wise... how do you think that would affect the sound? From what I hear both Ashdown and Acoustic are fairly transparent, but just curious

thanks!

no, you use a guitar cord and run it into either a power amp, or the return jack of the effects loop. its probably too hot of a signal for the front end of another amp.
