acoustic 300

was at my local pawn shop and saw this just sittin there for only $125 i talked him down to 85 cash there on the spot and he took it i know this is a older possible vintage head if i am not mistaken but dont know much else about it i only has one knob volume it goes to 20 lol and it is rated at 600w i believe if anyone knows anything about this plz tell want to find out all i can cause i cant find much when i try and search the web

it's a power amp to be used with an acoustic 360 preamp so you can drive unpowered cabs (the 361 was a powered 18" cab).

so if i get what you are saying is that this is a power amp that you use in junction with a unpowered mixer. is this like what they used back in woodstock for there pa

It's simply a power amp so use it like you would any other. It will support a 2ohm load too. Great deal for $85 smackeroos!

yea thats what i thought to great deal and i had bought a acoustic b600h a lil while back and am really starting to like there products i really wanna get my hands on a 360 tho just cause our good friend john palu used it and he was great

Yes - and most PA's now days.

Even if i'm pretty sure wood stock was powered by 10x Mcintosh 350w tube amplifiers.

Just use a LINE OUT to drive out your acoustic 300.

Ah the looks are the only thing those two pieces have in common. Those two amps are not the same manufacture, not even close. The one you just picked up was made by Acoustic Control Corp in California, your B600H is a GC house brand made overseas.

and kramerbassfan what do you mean about just use the line out on the 300 to drive it..sorry i just dont understand what you mean

Effects send (or line out) on the B600H, connect to the 300's input and hookup additional cabs to the 300.
