Acoustic 370 Head need a matching cab.

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi we have the 370 acoustic head with a vl215 acoustic cab in our band and it's not sounding good at all. We wanted to try to switch cabs maybe a new 410 acoustic cab. Would that match it or is there anything else that would sound good with this head? I've been looking into it but not really finding much thanks in advance!!

Have you checked out this site?

http://unofficialacousticcontrolcorp....com/directory

There's lots of very knowledgeable people concerning old ACC products there who can give you good advice.

I had a 370 years ago,and I used an Ampeg 8x10 SVT cab. Talk about pushin' some air. Woooosh!!!! Truly awesome tone. IMHO,I don't see how you (or anyone, for that matter) could be disappointed with that configuration.

I couldn't agree more! I take my 370 on the road as a backup and play it through either the 8X10 or the 6X10 (according to what cab I am traveling with) and STILL I'm impressed with the amount of air this old lady pushes! Truly a great head!

Can someone explain how many wants this head puts out? It says 205 W RMS @ 3.2 Ohm, 5 % THD, 325 W RMS @ 1.6 Ohm, 5 % THD, There is someone trying to sell they're swr goliath 3 410 and the power handling is 700 with an 8ohm impedance. Could this head handle that cab?
