Hello acoustic lovers. Still looking for the perfect tone to sound as close to Ryan Martinie as possible in my b450.

Are numbers still being given? If so, I would like one. I like my little Acoustic B200 MKII. It has excellent tone. It's likely too small for real jobs but for my purposes it's perfect.

I have an acoustic 370 as my main workhorse for my led zeppelin tribute band. I used a 150b for backup a couple of gigs ago due to an ongoing issue. Its served me well for the most part though. Also covered my sabbath tribute band well. In some venues the 370 drops volume or cuts out and distorts like a full on fuzz for no reason. Taken it to my tech a couple of times and we can't find anything wrong with it. Everything measures correctly and the amp is brand new inside. Sometimes I just switch input jacks and it goes away but it keeps bothering me. Other times that won't do it. I never know which venue might make it act up. So far its held its own on 12 of 13 gigs since last may. I've considered shipping it to john_k but that would cost me about the same thing as getting another one between shipping both ways and whatever might be wrong with it, if something indeed is wrong or just the voltage at the places I play being the case. Any ideas...

Just like to add that I love the acoustic sound. Its perfect for what I'm doing now. With my ampeg heritage 4 10 its heaven for vintage tone and feel. Pair it with a modern cab and it can do modern as well. I'm surprised acoustic USA hasn't released an updated 370. They are hard to reach, before I bought my ampeg cab I tried to contact them for the 4 10 but got no luck. I'm glad I went with ampeg.

Mmm, just noticed I'm not a member. I'll be using my 370 this weekend at UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans with the jazz swing band ( if Gordon Johnson could do it with Maynard Ferguson's band, so can I ), not to mention a new set of Chromes on the Precision. May I have a number?

Finally found a 408 to go under my 370 so I'm gonna celebrate by joining the club.

I played with my 17 piece swing band last night, opening for the circus, at UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, a 10,000 seat hall. Of course they only were using about four overhead mics for the band, so I took out the old 371. Unbelievable the massive, full, deep, rich sound that monster puts out. The guys running sound actually ask me to turn down at one point. I was using my American Standard Precision with Chromes. For tonight's performance, I'm debating on whether to take my American Standard Jazz, my Kramer DMZ5000, Rickenbacker 4001, or just take the P again, it sounded so good.
For lovers of the old 370, I truly hope you folks, one day, get the opportunity to play in a large venue with one of these amps. That's where they come into their glory.

Can't believe that I didn't see my name on "the list." Guess I just missed signing up somewhere along the way. ACC gear includes: 1/370 head, 1/450 head, one slave amp (I forget the model), 2/301 cabs, 1/106 cab. They're currently in storage while a new display and play area is being made. :cool:

Got a 220 today!!!



Sounds crushing with 415s and 218s. Punches faces with low mids and lows.

Also still have an 833 power amp. I tried to slave the 220's preamp out to power just the 218s but I dont think my preamp out works, it would only play out of the 415s connected to the 220.

Yay max! Thats quite the stack

Thanks I want to figure out what's wrong with my preamp out so I can have my matching power amp for my 218s. That and I need longer cords so I don't have to put the amp in the middle.
