Acoustic B100 -- Serious Problem

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey everyone, this is my first post. I apologize ahead of time if this is in the wrong area, I tried to look for a specific "problems with gear" area, but I didn't find any.

I live in Mexico, and had some friends bring down a brand new Acoustic B100 bass amp from GuitarCenter (new.)

Problem is, as soon as I turned it on, I realized that it's not producing any noise. The blue light turns on, meaning the power is working, the cable and bass guitar are both working fine (I tried them out with other amps/cables today, no problems) and the red "clip" light acts as though the bass is plugged in and producing sound (the red light flashes when the volume is too high, producing distortion.) When I strum my bass with the volume up high, no sound comes out, but the red light flashes as if it were working.

If anyone has had any similar problems, or any ideas on how to fix it, it'd be very much appreciated!!

check to see if the speaker wires are connected? if they are then mybe theres a short in them or maybe acoustic just isnt as good as they used to be they are now a guitar center house brand. You couldnt pay me to own anything with the new acoustic label on it.
