TalkBass Forums - Acoustic b20 amp broken

hi, i have been playing with amp since December 2012 as a Christmas present and has been working perfectly since, until now. A few days ago i was jamming out, then took a break to grab a soda. When i left, i turned it off, and unplugged both the bass and the wall outlet since it was storming outside, and i didn't want the power to go out, since maybe it would short circuit the amp. (it was new so i didn't want to take chances). The storm cleared and the power never went out, so when i returned to practice, the am wouldn't turn on, i tried different outlets, and i brought it downstairs to try more, but it never turned on. I am taking it to either guitar center or music and arts (whichever is closer), and try to get it repaired, but i thought that maybe if it was an easy fix, then you might know a solution. I have a tight budget, so spending unnecessary money isn't smart, especially for simple fixes.
