Acoustic Image at 2ohms?

Does anyone run their Acoustic Image amp at 2 ohms? Have you had any problems doing that?

Mine already runs pretty warm at 4 ohms but I need to move more air so I'm thinking of adding another 4 ohm cabinet to run paralell.

I bought an Acoustic Image Clarus+ about 3 weeks ago, and am using it at 2 ohms with a pair of 4 ohm Acme Low B-2's. I've only played one gig with it so far, but the amp performed very well.

I ran a borrowed coda 2R series II pushing 2 8Ω cabs and using the internal as my monitor, for a total of 2Ω. Did this several times while in between rigs. Electric bass in what I'd call a normal volume cover band. No problems. AFAIK AI designs their amps for 2Ω operation.

I've run my Clarus at 2 ohms at "cover band in a bar" volume levels with no issues. Party on!

+1. I've done the same thing for years. Never a hiccup. It's built and rated for it.
