Active/Passive: GK MB112

Can an active bass be plugged into the passive input on a GK MB112 combo amp with causing any electrical problems?

Yes. The 'active/passive' is meant to adjust for input level.

You should always use the passive (non-padded) input with any bass, except in the very rare case of a bass with such hot output that you distort the preamp even with the gain control at a very low level. This is just as likely with a passive bass as an active bass.

So, no problems
