Adding Hartke 4X10 to 2X10 Eden

Hello,

My current setup is a MESA M-PULSE 360 with a EDEN 210 XST (the best 210 they ever made)

I have been recently playing with a new rock band that is really loud. The XST is Loud but i wish i had a little more Headroom and sound presure level. And then comes the opportunity to buy an old Hartke MODUL 410 400W (XL ancestor)

Can i expect Phasing problems mixing a 210 EDEN and a 410 Hartke?

My Mesa can handle 2 OHM but its not recommended, how about 2,66 ohms (4 ohms + 8 ohms)? It will be fine?

Love the tone of my XST cab, how would it sound with a Hartke on top?

Uh oh... Here we go again.
It won't be as optimal as another same cab,
Buy it and try it, if it sucks sell the hartke...

I'd shoot for another Eden 2x10 XST if you can find one.

You will definitely get more volume by adding the Hartke and if you are playing loud rock bar gigs phasing (if it occurs) wont be too noticed. I've mixed cabs before. For hi end gigs, I'd avoid the risk.

Trouble with the Hartke is that resale value might not be super favorable if you end up not liking it.

The Hartke cab will not sound as deep in the lows at high volume, the same way the eden cabs do.

If you were to do it, make sure that the 4X10 is a 4 ohm cab and the 2X10 is a 8 ohm cab to ensure each speaker gets the same amount of power.

hartke 4x10s are 8Ω, so that's out.

+1 to just getting the second eden cab. the wrong piece of gear at a bargain price is no bargain.
