Advice for an amp

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking for an amp that I can use for my screamo band (feel free to laugh) and don't know how to choose. I'm looking for something with throaty lows and solid mids. Id like decent highs but its less of a priority. I'm looking to use it at shows so it needs some oomf but I don't need ludicrous power. Thank you for your help

Based on your description, I'd say you're looking for a "bass" amp
;-)

Go to the shops and play a few - tastes are subjective. Play several and get the one you like best.

Sounds like you may be looking for a product that says "Ampeg" on it.

Yeah, and the letters that are on the front of the Ampeg head and cab are "SVT 3 PRO" and "SVT 4X10HLF" enjoy your reasonably priced rig of doom! Cheers.
