Aesthetic boxes for SS amp heads

Couldn't think of a good way to word this in a title, but here goes the explanation. Got a VT bass deluxe pedal, love it. Got a Carvin BX500, love it as a power amp for the VT. On top of my Kustom 2x15's cab, the BX500 looks kind of meager and unappealing. Anybody know of a website of some kind that would sell JUST the casing for a tube amp head without the guts inside? I'm considering just slipping my BX500 in there for show and taking it out when I'm using the head at rehearsal or w/e. It would also be neat to hear some gear snobs compliment my all-tube tone at a show only to realize it's a gimmick. I might rig it up where I'll have the input jack on the fake amp case hook up to the effects return on my carvin to make it even more surreal, but for now im starting small.

Any leads?

Mesa/Boogie makes head cases for all their stuff. I'm sure they have something that will fit, considering all their stuff now is rackmountable (IIRC)...

check Weber Speakers, they sell a lot of speaker cabs and I believe amp head cases as well. An interesting Trojan Horse project......

Checked both leads and I can't say I found anything in the neighborhood of what I'm looking for, I might just have to keep an eye out for a busted up or broken old tube amp and gut it out. I was hoping I wouldn't have to dumpster dive, but I may find a better fit that way since my 2x15 cab is all beat up.

Idk what it is about the VT bass deluxe that makes me want to dupe people with its stunningly realistic emulation of the SVT. Such an awesome pedal... =)

actually, thats precisely what I was talking about lol. That price tag makes me wince pretty bad, but that's for sure what I'm getting at in terms of my project idea. I'm gonna bookmark that for sure, thank you for digging it up! =)

Not sure what that case at Mojotone had that the other links didn't have, but OK.

My bad completely, I was looking in the wrong section of those websites, I just didn't know the term for what I was looking for ("head boxes" is what they have them under). Looks like they are all around the $180+ range and will need faceplates as well. Guess this will be after I get my new speakers for the 2x15's, put a new pickup in my p-bass, and get a tweed case for my p-bass as well.
