Affordable Four Tens

Sign in to disble this ad
Is there an amp using four ten inch speakers that is low cost but reliable? Its not for professional use but for worship service Sunday morning use. I`m using a Hohner AEB-40 and en Epiphone Jack Casady. Thanks & take care. Bob

Avatar? Oh, you're looking for a 410 combo - no ideas on that. Just get the 410 Avatar and a micro head like the GK MB500 - a pretty affordable rig.

I believe Ashdown has a 4x10 combo. I have a 2x10 of theirs that has lasted me 6 years now without any issues and it has a nice tone to it as well.

used peavey TVX. If you can deal with the weight, they go pretty cheap used and they sound good to me at least.

a 4-10 is kind of big for most churches.

Go used.. I've seen GKs in the $200 range..

For a church, I'd be thinking something unobtrusive (small), efficent (better use of speakers) and ported to the rooms natural EQ

The single best one I've found is a single downward firing driver.... it softens the blow to gramma's wig

I have a Fender 60 Rumble that is ok for worship service but we are getting drums and the guitars are going to begin using amplification soon so I thought a bigger setup might be needed.
Years ago I had an old blonde Fender bassman. I may be wrong but it seems as it had 4X10s and was not at all too big to get around easily. Todays prices make that rig out of the question .
The idea of two tens makes good sense too. Thanks everyone. Take care. Bob
