| AG 500 SC issue resolved?

I played the AG 500 SC amp today and loved it. I A-Bed it against some heads at ATL Bass Gallery. I'm trying to read as many threads about it and ran across one thread from 2008 about several users having had issues with the amp shutting down because of the setting of the smart card in the head.
Not sure if this was the AG 500 or the AG 500 SC heads. Anyway, the heads needed to be shut down and reset.
I haven't found other threads yet that talk about this issue being resolved.
Was this technical issue resolved? (my guess would be years ago)
