Ag GS112--need some clarification

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking to sell most of my gear. I was going to sell my Ag GS112 but might keep it. One interested person said I had the older version and not the new design. I called Aguilar to get the year---2004. The guy on the phone said there has not been any change in design in the GS112 at all.

Who are the Ag-nuts out there? Is this true? NOT to say Aguilar's C/S is wrong, but I guess I'm just wanting double confirmation.

He's likely confused with the DB series.

I have 2 used ones I bought separately, the only difference I've noticed is that the tweeter pad in the back has a different layout - just the print/graphics.

I'm kinda sorry I got rid of mine.

One of the all-time greats, that's for sure.

I love my little Aguilar cab, as well. Very light and powerful.

I seem to remember that Aggy had an "S" version of their cabs...at one time. Maybe, it's possible that he was confusing it with that model?

There is a version without a tweeter, maybe that's what he meant?

Have a regular and a NT, and tweeter at 12 o'clock is enough for me. Love my mini stack!

Now there's a guy you wanna hang out with! He's GOT to have some good smoke! LOL

Aguilar's CS is top-notch - they know there gear better than I do. Yeah, the GS112 has not changed at all. I think they're considering a neo-speaker cab but to date, it's SSDD.

The guy could have been thinking of the S-series cabs. But even then they never made a 12" S cab. In any event, don't lose any sleep over some random a-hole who thinks he knows it all. Listen to these a-holes, we really DO know it all! LOL
