hi everyone, i have a question, i will buy a amp head, the question is why has two outputs for speaker? when i can to use two outputs? the amp is Aguilar 750

yes, i use two cabinets with 8 ohms when i linked the impedance is 4 ohms. who is better? to link the cabinets or connect the cabinets in the two outputs of the amp?thanks

If it's a mono-block head (I think the DB is, anybody want to confirm that) then it doesn't matter. Regardless if you plug an 8 ohm cab into each output or if you plug an 8 ohm cab into one output and daisy-chain another 8 ohm cab into the original, the head is going to see a 4 ohm load.

However, if you have a stereo head that isn't bridged, each separate output is going to see the impedance of the cabinet(s) that are plugged into it. So if you have a stereo head and plug an 8 ohm cab into each output, each side of the power section is going to see 8 ohms.

answer to question #1 two amp outputs in case your cabinets have only one input, but want to use two 8 ohm cabs. if you have two inputs on one cab you can...

amp>cab>cab. if you have one input on each cab: amp>cab....other amp output>other cab.

p.s. I'm drunk, but this is correct right? lol!

edit: p.s. aguilar is great stuff if you like their tone....
