Aguilar AG500sc active/passive button Q

Just a quick Q...i have an AG500sc....is it going to be alot of difference in tone if im running a passive Fender Jazz through the amp with the Active bass button depressed?

or should i be keeping the amp in the passive setting with a passive jazz?

any thoughts?

No big difference in tone, but a big difference in volume - you'll have more volume with the switch set for passive.
