Aguilar DB 410

I hope this is the correct forum.

So I just returned a Aguilar DB410 to Guitar Center. But I am curious to know and hear from the opinions of talkbass gurus. I just plugged in the cab for the first time and it sounds like ass. Overdriven, like a high gain channel on a Marshall. They are going to call me back in the AM after they contact Aguilar and attempt to solve this issue.
I put the cab up to multiple heads to make sure it was the cab. Even tried 4 different cables. 100% clean signal, effects were pulled from the input.

Anyways, curious to know if you have heard of this happening or experienced this yourself? I searched multiple times using different key words looking for the problem, but none described the problem as overdriven. It effected every note up and down the register. It literally sounds overdriven, high gain. I am pretty sure this is not how this cab should sound. The correct tone and volume lever was there but the sound could not come clean.
Any ideas or bets on what it is?

/In before someone says the first problem was going to Guitar Center.

That was my assumption as well. But blown speakers I have heard in the past were distorted and fuzzy. This was more OD effect. The tone was still crisp and the volume levels responded correctly but meh, this sucks. Anyways, thanks for stopping in.
