Aguilar DB-659...

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently bought an Aguilar DB-659. It is a great preamp, that I am planning to use with my Bergantino IP-112 + HT112 setup. To those of you who have experience with this preamp, I have two questions:

- When the treble, mid and bass knobs of the preamp are turned all the way counter-clockwise, there is no signal coming out whatever the levels of Volume and Master are. As the EQ section of the unit is all boost, I thought at a level of all zeros, the unit would act as if the EQ section is bypassed. Am I thinking wrong?

- Does anybody know what the output level difference between the regular outputs (1/4" jacks) and the balanced output?

Best,

Alper
