Accugroove odyssey so far:
El Whappo: TOO much volume for my gigs, way too large and
awkward to schlep around.
Whappo Jr: Again, amazing tone with a wicked lowmid kick
but STILL too much on a lot of what I do. Still
have it as a backup, but I doubt I'll use it any
time soon.
Tri112L: Awesome cabinet for small/medium size gigs. If
you've ever been at a gig that was SUPPOSED to be
low volume but ended up much louder than you
expected, then this cab would ensure that you had
a big enough sonic footprint to hang in there. Little
heavy when you consider other lightweight 112's
Tri210L: Loved the tone of this cab, although it was a little
too much at times in the low end and was generally
darker sounding then Accugroove's other cabs.
Tri112L/Tri115L: Truly a more-portable and brighter sounding
El Whappo. Also sounded great with an
AG500SC on top. Liked that if needed I
could break up the pair at a gig if I needed
to. A few times I showed up at a gig with
the Whappo Jr or El Whappo only to find
that I brought a Bradley Tank to a knife fight
Tri115L: My favorite standalone small/medium gig cab. With
the DB750 it's like having a modern variant of the
venerable Ampeg B-15. If I need a smaller footprint
I bust out the AG500SC and play with the -10db
switch engaged. This cab sounds equally as good
at a very low volume as it does when pushed to the
extreme.
TWO Tri115L's:
Just tried this out last night at an outdoor
show and both me AND my band had many

moments. Flat out the BEST tone I've had live. Effortless extension on the Bstring, balanced throughout the frequency spectrum with a slight lowmid kick, and with a more extended hi-end than with the ElWhappo or Whappo Jr. Every note sounded thick and clear at the same time, and I could see where volume would NOT be an issue at just about ANY venue with this setup.
Going forward I'll have both heads and both cabs on hand and will be ready for ANY venue I come across!!!!!
