Aguilar DB750 tube swap options (need more grit!)

So I have read around and it seems that swapping tubes is the DB750 can have a (some say big) effect of the sound. Another rabbit hole to immerse myself in.

So here is the twist... everyone talks about getting tubes that "clean" up the sound and improve head room.

... that is not what I want. The amp is stupid loud already, especially because I like the way it sounds when you start grinding that preamp (with my ric).

I usually max the gain! And now I find that I want more grit so I have been putting the gain at 3 o'clock and driving it with an M80 with a little dist blended in.

Does anyone know of any tubes will get the DB to get that wooly grind that I love earlier? or more?

Plus, I think it might just be time to re-tube that sucker as a whole. Recommendations?
