Aguilar DB751 or AG500 w/DB 285 JC

OK. After three of their amps I have to admit, I'm Aguilar's beeotch. Would welcome input on pairing the DB751 with the DB 285 JC cab.

I play an electric (and soon acoustic) cello and really like the way the Little Jack cab handles the mids. The cab only comes in 4 ohms. Its a 300 watt cabinet and the DB751 puts out 750 watts at 4 ohms. Do I risk blowing out the speaker with the DB751?

Thanks for your help.

Try the new Tone Hammer 500. Otherwise, just watch your volume!

If all you need in terms of volume is the Jack (which is pretty compact), the 751 seems like overkill. Then again, if you've got the ducats and that's the tone you want, get it and just keep an eye on the volume.

751, be wary of volume.
