Aside, from the poweramp, its pretty light and packs one hellava wollop with 1500w going into the cab.
Sounds like the voice of the Invisible Sky Wizard (ie very good ).

I don't know how this combination is supposed to sound "on paper", but to my ears, I'm more than happy!

Between the AG, my basses, and my playing style I don't feel like the 12-loaded GS cabs are mid-shy at all, while the DB's sound a little too "focused."
That said, I'd definitely use a DB cab if I went back to using a DB750/1 head or a TH500. The focus of the DB cabs works perfectly with the more wooly DB and TH heads. |

| | | | I use two SL112 Cabs with a GK MB500, nice setup, very bottom heavy, but still focused. Tried the GS112 of a friend and liked it a lot. Due to a lot of giging I went with what was lighter.

As more of a jazz player who likes the growl sound, I went with the DB series. I also prefer getting cabinets from the same manufacturer as my bass amp. I find they usually sound very good as they were designed to be played together. | I use this fEARful stack with my TH 500. I just got this stack from JHawk Customs in AZ. There's a clear description of them on the website at the bottom of the page where it says built for "dubbass." You can view them at this link: http://www.jhawkcustoms.com/finished.htm
It's working out very well and offers many tone options. I had a matched Aguilar rig before and it liked it. I sold it to fund a single large fEARful cabinet. I can always get a useful tone out of Aguilar amps - kind of like an iron fist in a velvet glove. I've learned that fEARful cabs are versatile with tone.
