Aguilar Tonehammer 500 vs Genz Benz STM-600

A friend is considering these 2 heads but doesn`t have the chance to test them. He plays mainly jazz/fusion/funk with influences of Alain Caron and Jeff Berlin.

Can anyone briefly compare these heads with pros/cons ?

Thanks in advance.

Probably not. I don't think the Tonehammer 500 is out yet.

When it does come out, I'd love to see a comparison between the two and then a comparison between the TH500 and the STM with a Tone Hammer pedal into the Preamp in. Wonder how similar or different that would sound. If you could get the STM and then a Tone Hammer, it may be more versatile all around than just one of either amps for a thick tubey sound and a, well, less thick sound with the TH. Just pondering the possibilities. I wonder, because the TH500 is not an option for me as it doesn't have a headphone out from what I understand.

Maybe they will make an Aggro 500?
