Aguilar tweeter whisle...I want it gone!!

The tweeter that is, I don't care to diagnose and fix it. I love the cab, have the tweeter control at minimum, and I still get a bit of tweeter whistle/buzz when I use my awesome new tube amp with overdrive.

Its the same with my Eden cab, but when I turn the Eden down all the way, its gone. I don't like the tweeter...can I just snip the wires? Or will that screw up the impedance?
Its a GS115 cab.
Thanks

If you must, disconnect the crossover from the circuit and wire directly from the input jacks to the 15. Leave the tweeter in the cabinet to block the hole.

More than have used SEARCH, apparently ; }

EDIT: An alternate that's worked well for me is to stuff foam in the horn, behind the grill.

Yeah...snarkiness is not appreciated, all the more so when its not warranted. Here's the search results for Aguilar tweeter:

I assume he means hiss, and of course tweeters don't hiss, amps do, all the tweeter does is reproduce the signal the amp provides them with.

Yeah indeed, you can cut off the lifelines or choke it to d...
