He told me a rather strange story about unloading his gear at a rehearsal studio. He somehow got distracted and became involved in a long conversation. After about 20 minutes he realized that he had left his GB head on the rear seat of his car with the windows down. In a panic he raced outside to check on his amp. To his surprise, he discovered that two Genz-Benz amp heads were sitting on his back seat. It seems like talkbass news travels fast.

M. M. | Old accordion player joke. Guy goes into a store to get a soda, comes out and someone broke into his car and put two more accordions in his car.

But seriously, let's not derail this thread. I couldn't sleep at night knowing that I might have contributed to derailing such an important topic. For the record, as a happy Genz-Benz user I feel comfortable poking a bit of fun at all the panic and hysteria on the preceding pages. However this all falls out, I'm still going to enjoy my STM-600.

I guess the easiest way to win is to buy your competition and bury them. |

Does that mean that some guy is walking around saying that or was that coming from official Fender people? What does, "...concentrating on Fender Bass Amps." mean? Are they going to stop making the other lines of amps, or does this mean they are still going to make them, but promote the Fender named stuff?
Without clarification, that is a dangerous post. I don't mean to attack you, but some clarification would be greatly appreciated. |
